Who We Are

Blank Canvas is a privately owned Art studio that offers Art lessons and art parties to both children and adults of varying skill levels. We offer drawing, painting and mixed media classes to people seeking to improve their skill levels and portfolio. Blank Canvas is community based, partnering with local schools and universities to help nurture the love of Art and enhance the understanding and practical use of Art Elements and Principles. We work with local Artists looking for a space to create and a sense of community within the Arts.

Blank Canvas is an LLC owned and operated by Lulu Jones, located in Columbia, MD. Lulu Jones is an Art Educator who has been teaching Elementary, Middle and High school students in the public school system for eight years now. Lulu has experience hosting Sip and Paint events, Leading Art camps and competitions, as well as teaching art lessons at the Corcoran Gallery of Art and Design. At Blank Canvas, Lulu shares her love for the creative process and experiences in making Art while creating a fun, relaxed and safe space for self expression.
